Awhile ago, I think it was on either this forum or another, there was a post from seriouseats.com that discussed "7 Old Wives Tales About cooking steak" or something like that. It was very interesting and debuked many things I had taken as gospel on cooking steaks. If y'all are interested go to seriouseats.com and search the "7 Wives Tales..." and I think y'all will find it interesting also. I would link it but don't know how.

Thanks for the link guys. It was interesting reading but I did find one false statement at the end of the article. It shows a "yellow" Thermapen ... everyone knows you should be using a "pink" Thermapen!! :D :D ;)

I wonder if my Thermapen is fast enough to generate some heat for me. Going on 30 hours without power.
