Title: Myths about cooking steaks
Post by: deestafford on December 06, 2013, 09:23:46 PM
Awhile ago, I think it was on either this forum or another, there was a post from seriouseats.com that discussed "7 Old Wives Tales About cooking steak" or something like that.  It was very interesting and debuked many things I had taken as gospel on cooking steaks.  If y'all are interested go to seriouseats.com and search the "7 Wives Tales..." and I think y'all will find it interesting also.  I would link it but don't know how.

Thanks for the link guys.  It was interesting reading but I did find one false statement at the end of the article.  It shows a "yellow" Thermapen ... everyone knows you should be using a "pink" Thermapen!!   :D  :D  ;)

I wonder if my Thermapen is fast enough to generate some heat for me. Going on 30 hours without power.
