I got my Savor spices in the mail today. Now I will be waiting for a good day to cook out and try them. I especially want to try the Mo Rockin Chicken seasoning. I tasted it and the WOW seasoning and know I will like them.
Tee was kind enough to include a small vacuum packed sample of his jerky. It was done in a wet rub marinade he is working on. I will let him describe it and the flavors when he is ready. All I can say is dang if it wasn’t good!!! The heat and flavors really went well together for a little different taste.
All of you who are into making jerky will want to check this out. To me it was kicked up a notch from the standard jerky taste.

You are really going to enjoy all those spices Don! My favorite out of the bunch is Mo Rockin!
-
Interested in your review of W.O.W. That is the only one I don't have and haven't tried.
-
Tim only sends out jerky samples to his finest customers 8)
Super-pig is my favorite!
-
Nice pickup Don! Tim's rubs will knock your good cooks up a notch! My faves are Mo' Rockin and Wow, but they are all top shelf with minimal salt! ;)
-
YOU guys sure know how to humble a guy….THANK YOU….
The jerky has a marinade on it that I originally made for trout Sometimes, if I bring home some - and want to smoke them, I will marinade/brine them in this. The best way I can describe it - is as a "orange-teriaki….but it is not exactl what your tastebuds might tell you even that would taste like. Like everything else we do - it is not a salty product.
It will be my first "wet product" - whenever I get around to the manufacturing issues of wet products ( regulation rich environment …)
But, for now…who knows? With an order….I may just slip a packet of the jerky in for taste testers ;)…….Only have a few left - of course…. ;D

Fine Swine and Bovine is one of my go to rubs........(it is good on chicken also).........
-
All good but Kimmie's favorite is the Super Pig. I like the Swine and Bovine very much as well as the WOW. Looking forward to seeing what you do with these
-
And don't limit super pig just for bacon!
I have used it on chicken legs and it was really good!
-
Looking forward to see what you make with those Don, I have them all as well.. hard to pick a favorite.. they are all great.

How long is the wait time on orders, mine not here yet?
-
Tee's marinade is the one I used when I made the pheasant jerky a while back. When I make some more pheasant jerky for the Fall Gathering, I will be using the marinade again. It is that good!!

Spuds - if you have not received yours yet - I will re-send it. About 1 in 25 orders never seem to make it to their destination. The good old USPS just ain't what it used to be I am afraid....Then again - neither am I ( so the wife says.... ;) ;D)

i love savor spices. my favs are bbq savor, FSB, chicken savor, WOW, M3 and super pig. i love that they are low salt and a fine grind. find grind rubs soak in better to your proteins in my opinion. i still think tim's pic should be on one of the bottles unless the guy on WOW is tim? :D
