Title: BBQ Sauce made in south africa
Post by: africanmeat on January 25, 2014, 03:02:35 PM: Two week ago i made a wicked BBQ sauce .
infused garlic in olive oil .
mix it in tomatoes sauce .
add worcester sauce ,apple cider vinegar ,salt black pepper,cumin powder,and hot chili sauce i made from roasted jalapenos , bird eye chili and peppers .
And a secret ingredient . bring all to boil and simmer for 30 minutes , blend it in a blender

now for the secret ingredient .
a reduction of 3 litre of coca-cola till it coating the spoon . add just 1 spoon .

Ahh the coca-cola reduction is yummy on ice cream .

Many people really like it. And - Other sodas will work as well. I will bet you will be experimenting with a few ;) ;D

Dr. Pepper does make a great reduction sauce. How long did it take 3 liters to reduce down????

the locally made one is very high in sugar content .
So who has a wicked BBQ sauce , so I'll try it .
