No way I could wait that long.  I'd be eating cucumbers in vinegar by the next day.

Good fresh cukes are hard enough to come by this time of year, so I'd be one of the ones eating them asap!

Very cool, and once again timely!  I've been playing with easy Bread & Butter pickle recipes (I love 'em) and was think an easy refrigerator dill recipe would be good also.

I'll be trying this very soon, thanks for posting!

Cliff, I take a taste every day when I stir the container of cucumbers. They are rather sweet at this point. Reminds me of bread and butter pickles. Next time a bit less sugar. Very tasty tho!

Well the 3 days were up yesterday but had a busy day and night so gotta get this out today. I love these pickles! Nice firm texture, a bit sweet, but not too sweet. I will definitely make them again, same recipe, but I think I will try less sugar next time to get more of a dill taste. All in all a great pickle with virtually NO work!

Looks great! I cannot eat cucumbers unless they have been made into pickles. If I eat raw cukes it is like I swallowed a hand grenade and not pleasant. But I do love some good pickles.

Please repost your new mix, Hikerman. I'm a big dill fan ;D
