Learned this last year.
Lay filets on a cookie sheet with wax paper between layers.
Freeze overnite ( no longer)
Dip into ice water bath & back on cookie sheet & freezer for 30 min.
Put individual filets into freezer bag & take out what you need!
Ones I'm planning on using in next 1-2 month just in ziplock bag, others into vacuum bag.

Thanks for the info.

I learned that from an old guy I met in the grocery, it doesn't stick together after dipping in ice cold water and refreezing or I have frozen in portions in water also. Pam

thanks, good info.

Thank you.

Thanks for sharing. I always freeze a couple pieces in water. Your way sounds like it will form a nice ice seal without all the water.

John, when you say put individual filets into zip lock, is that one per bag?
