Easy peasy
1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash-brown potatoes (Squared, southern style)
2 (14.5 oz.) cans chicken broth
1 (10.75 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
1/2c chopped onion
1/8c Hormel Bacon Pieces (not bits) or fry your own
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Salt to taste
1/2 t parsley flakes
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese (softened and cut into 8 pieces)
Garnish: minced green onion and bacon pieces (opt)
Directions:
1. In a slow cooker combine potatoes, broth, soup, onion, and pepper.
2. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
3. Stir in the softened cream cheese and bacon pieces, cook an additional 45 minutes stirring occasionally until combined.
4. Serve in a bowl and garnish with green onion and more bacon pieces.
