i love Cream cheese but the price off the cream cheese here is crazy .
my Favorited is Philadelphia cheese.
a 8oz is $5
so i decided to do it at home .i used 2 drops of rennet ,1/8 tea spoon of culture in 1 gallon of milk full cream (from the shop ) .
i got 2 lb of cheese for $3 .
it is fresh no preservatives .

I've made ricotta always for a special occasions, never knew about cream cheese at home though ...... my wife would love homemade ! (I'd still be the one to actually make it !)

It should freeze well ? (talking 'bout freezers)

I have made my own Lox but never cream cheese. Luckily the price is not too expensive here!
