Beef Fajitas
« Reply #-1 on: August 11, 2014, 10:52:11 AM »
The other day I made beef fajitas and want to share with y'all what I did as it was a little different than what we usually do.  I marinated the flank steak and the vegetables in the same solutions but two different containers.  Then I just grilled the steak and cooked the vegetables in a cast iron skillet.

Marinade:
1/2 c olive oil
1/3 c lime juice
3 T Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 T cumin
1 T chili powder
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 T sugar

Combine all.  Divide in half.  Put a whole flank steak in one plastic bag and the vegetables (bell pepper and onions sliced) in another. Add half of marinade in each bag.  Marinade at least 2 hours.  Then grill steak and cook vegetables any way you want.  Top the meat and vegetables with whatever it is you normally do or want to do 'cause it don't make much never mind as long as you like it.
