This “CombiSteam” model can cook with steam, allowing for sous-vide-style cooking—and the payoff of juicy meat, fish, chicken or vegetables that cannot be overcooked—without a separate appliance. I can’t confirm that it delivers on that promise, as the cooking demo was still in progress when I stopped by. (Most housewares vendors at IFA try to attract the attention of visitors by providing samples of food and beverages made with their hardware, making this the best-smelling tech trade show I’ve attended.)
