For all you guys that like cooking food in water for 3 days compared to on the grill for 9 minutes. I will share one of my sausage making secrets. Premade bags. I just ordered 50 pint 200 quart and 100 gallon bags for $76.98 with free shipping.  Ordered on Monday received on Thurs morning!

I have a FoodSaver vacuum sealer and I've always used the FoodSaver brand of bags with this machine and have been satisfied with them.

What makes these bags better than the FoodSaver brand bags?

Tenpoint:  The price is definitely right.  I see that the bags are 4 mil but I do not know how thick the Foodsaver bags are?  That could also be a factor in buying for long storage.

Thanks for the post. Last bags I bought were the Weston bags from Amazon and these are priced lower. This just got book marked for my next bag buy.
Love to cook and eat

I also order from this company.  The vac channel type bags are the Weston bags and are way better than the FoodSaver bags.  They will handle Sous Vide cooking just fine, a heavier bag than the FoodSavers.  I think the  Weston bags vac and seal better too but that's just my opinion.

You can purchase chamber bags there also in either 3 or 4 mil.

I ordered chamber bags from them Thursday morning, received an email the same afternoon telling me my order had shipped and will be here on Monday.  That's quick! And I got free shipping. :)
