After several busy days of heat & humidity, it was sure nice to fire up the MAK for some easy classic summer fare.
So what do you do when big ripe locally grown tomatoes are in season at a great price?
Why, you make BLT's of course. Or, in this case... BSLT's
Bacon, Sausage, Lettuce & Tomato Sammies2 pounds of thick cut Bacon and 1 1/2 lbs of homemade Breakfast Sausage on the MAK in smoke mode for a while...
then bumped to 300° until done.
I'll take mine on some rye bread with some Peppery Mayo please.
