Hot Peppa Vinegar or sauce as they call it in the South
« Reply #-1 on: February 14, 2015, 05:17:35 PM »
I just made a batch of hot pepper vinegar, I added hot peppers slit in the middle, some black pepper corns, gahhlick of course and a pinch of salt... gotta wait a bit to use it but it can be added to anything you need acid. Smells good already. They call it Peppa Sauce in the South. Gonna put it on some collards and ham hocks.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Savanna - I didn't know it was a law, but will abide by the rules..saw it on DDD.
drholly - I used white vinegar bacause it is what I had.
Just hot peppers about 6" long. It was all the store had..not a big selection up here right now.. Will add some red pepper when they are available.
Ken..I bought the bottle at the store, not very $$$$y.
Smells real good already.  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
