Smoked hot sauces
« Reply #-1 on: April 26, 2015, 09:40:08 AM »
I got some leftover of cherry tomatoes and hot peppers that is growing in my garden .
before they rot i decided to do a hot sauce .
put them with some onions and garlic in the smoker at 250 for 2 hours .
in to the blender with 1/2 cup of ketchup ,1/4 cup olive oil ,salt , black pepper .
blend it till smooth .
The sauce is  hot hot and smoky .
it will be a good add on to a BBQ sauces , hot and spicy  links , or on his own .

That looks good! I would probably just eat it by the spoonful. With a towel close by to wipe the sweat from my head.

I would probably add a half gallon of cold milk, just in case.
