Chorizo Soup
« Reply #-1 on: April 30, 2015, 08:48:06 AM »
Inspired  by Spanish flavours i made a  chorizo soup .

first i fried chopped onion & garlic and fried till soften .

add red peppers fried till soften .

add hot spanish chorizo fried for few minutes .

i put in cauliflower because i don't eat carbohydrate , but you can put in potatoes .

salt and black pepper to taste , 1 tsp of cayenne pepper 3 tsp of smoked paprika .

i added 1 tin of chopped tomatoes and 1.5 quarts of chicken broth .

i let it simmer for a hour .

it came out very tasty very good for a cold day .

Ahron,
That soup looks and sounds like it would be great.  This will get bookmarked for the "cold" weather.
