Both my Anova One's came in this afternoon, the Polyscience Smoking Gun came in this morning. Christmas in June!!!
Used one this afternoon and did chorizo stuffed boneless chicken breasts and a top round "London broil" with the other unit all cooked to perfection. Chicken at 162o beef at 132o. I shot some smoke with the Polyscience unit on the chicken before cooking, had a nice little smoke taste after cooking and searing the chicken. I shot some smoke on the beef after cooking. The wood chips/sawdust from Polyscience are outrageous, so I tried some Amazen hickory dust and it worked just as good as the Polyscience stuff, and waaay cheaper. I'm gonna enjoy my new gadgets
