Some nice looking steaks. Although I enjoy steak with cracked black pepper or a nice mushroom/ onion gravy sometimes just an unadorned steak fits the bill... salt, pepper and nothing else.

Yup.  I like and occasionally exercise a wee bit of creativity when grilling steaks but way down deep inside I'm of the school that says less is more.  My favorite thing about steaks is the meaty goodness that comes from a good critter, properly butchered, aged and cooked.  Enjoyed the article, though.
