Just though I should mention that Billy Merrill (my cooking team partner and a member here) and his son Robert finished 5th at the Peak City Pigfest in Apex, NC last weekend, doing so without my assistance while I dealt with a church conference.  I'm very proud of them and hope to return to competition soon.  There were some tough, big, every weekend competitors there and it warms the cockles of the heart to see a "part time" team do so well  ;D

We are cooking the following contest. If you are in the area, please drop by and see us.
On occasion and from time to time and every once in a while and now and again a CBJ will join us for the weekend to meet there requirement to shadow a team before they can become a Master Judge.

When are you coming too California to compete?. Would love to hang out with ya.  How is your new fec 100 treating ya nowadays?. Your first one had problems it sounds like.
