Anyone going to the Jack BBQ this year?    Since I'll be out of work with surgery on the shoulder, I'm going Friday to visit a few friends that will be cooking this year.  So if your going let me know we'll meet up

 Saturday, Oct. 24, the 27th annual Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue will heat up Lynchburg as more than 90 domestic and international teams ...

Looks like this trip i will miss all the action .
i will be from the 30 of October till 6 November in Vegas and then till the 10 November in Los Angeles .

There's a comp out there named "The Jack" - The Jack Daniels?  Seriously?

I thought it was a joke when someone sent me an entry form and asked me to compete.  It looked pretty official, but I thought Meube was up to his old tricks again and didn't reply.  Besides, I don't have a way to get the Pecos Smoker up there.  Oh, well...
