I know better than to post a cook without pics but I'm gonna do it anyway. Put a nice chunk of top sirloin in the bath at 127.5 for the afternoon then seared it on my new cook-air grill for a couple minutes per side at setting 5 with peach chunks. Used 1/2 of a Rutland fire starter square to get the peach chunks lit. (Found the Rutland fire starter squares at Home Depot, 4.95 for a 144 count box). Served it with crunchy bacon cole slaw, sweet corn and cukes/onions. Most excellent supper. My point is this: the cook-air grill, peach wood and Rutland fire starters are all direct results of input from the members of this forum which is without doubt the BEST forum on the web, bar none!

Nice to know they have those starters at Home Depot. Next time I will get them there instead of Amazon.

Don't you just love the Cook-Air and Sous Vide!

Tail....( never thought I would nickname another man that - but....) :D :D :D

YOU like all of our other members - are a key ingredient that makes the LTBBQ recipe work to cook up a satisfying "full meal" experience here. You contribute, and share without "attitude or arrogance" - which is the principle we hope that all folks understand the power of that principle and LTBBQ philosophy.

Unicorn or not - It sounds like a great meal, and I want to hear more about the crunchy bacon coleslaw! Have you posted that one here yet?....Because it has me droolin' just thinking about the possible combination.
BBQ is neither verb or noun. It is an experience.

I think I might do this today. How long in the bath?

TF sounds like a nice cook!
I agree with Pappy!  This sir is your ONE UNICORN MULLIGAN!  :D
I also agree with Tim!  There is a lot of caring and sharing here mixed in with a little fun-intended jabbing! ;) Part of brotherhood and sisterhood! :D

I put the sirloin (frozen solid) in the SV at noon, took it out, patted it dry, seasoned it and straight onto the cook-air around 6:30.

I think I have, but here it is:
3/4 cup Mayo (I prefer Hellman's)
1 T sugar
1/2 T cider vinegar
1 bag prefab coleslaw, or shred your own
1/2 lb cooked bacon (I slice it in 1/2" pieces prior to cooking) drained.
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
combine dressing ingredients in large mixing bowl, add coleslaw, cooked bacon and peanuts, stir just enough to combine. very simple to make, but it's my favorite coleslaw by far!

THAT deserves to be in our recipes section for side dishes...Would mind copying it there too? That way it will not get lost as will happen in the general discussion threads.
Thanks TF!
