A whole lotta pork for a good cause
« Reply #-1 on: July 05, 2016, 02:23:22 PM »
One of my co-worker cooked up 3,500 lbs this weekend to raise $$$$$ for the local cemetery.

Yes you read right 3,500  lbs  ??? ??? ???   He said they cooked all shoulders because the skin bring in an extra few $$$$ after they pull the meat.  He says the pits are about 60 foot each

They raised over $8,000.00 last year ;)

Here is a picture of just one pit .   They had to going plus a burn pit for the coals
