When the brats were almost done they went into a simmering cast iron pan of sautéed onions, sauerkraut, butter, and beer.

That really looks very tasty and takes back to my hunting days growing up in Wisconsin.

Have not had venison brats since leaving Wisconsin 53 years ago. :( :( :(
