More Smoked Chex Mix
« Reply #-1 on: December 30, 2012, 09:57:36 AM »
Been smoking chex mix for years now. This is my 2nd batch smoking in the RV.

I use elastic cheese cloth type ham bags to cover the racks.

Maple smoke today for the chex.

Maple smoke being delivered via the AMZNPS.

Gotta Love Smoky Chex mix. Where do you get them stretchy ham bags? I would love to see the machine that makes them little weaved chex squares, and yah ever look at a triscuit and wonder how they make them.

Is that coated with anything, like a regular chex mix, or just smoke?

Pam

Yes it is.

Just right outta the bag chex mix. Im going to add some kick up powder to one rack.

Even though the Chex didnt have heat applied, give it a rest for an hour or so before you bag it.

Try to keep your mitts outta it  ;D
