Maple Roasted Nuts

Ingredients:

2 cups Nuts (whatever you like)
2 TBS real Maple Syrup
1 1/2 TBS Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp salt (omit if the nuts are salted)
1/4 tsp Paprika

Optional: For a spicy version add 1/8 - 1/4 tsp ground Cayenne Pepper.

Driections:
Preheat your oven (or smoker/grill) to 375 degrees. Gather your nuts in a large bowl for mixing. Mix the Brown Sugar, salt & paprika together then add to the nuts. Add the maple syrup and toss with a rubber spatula, making sure everything is coated evenly.

Line a cookie tray with parchment paper and spread the nuts out in a single layer. Roast in a 375° oven or smoker for 10-12 minutes, making sure not to burn them. Once the nuts have cooled break them apart & store in a container.

Nice idea using Maple Syrup and I am going to do this so thanks for posting it.

What do ya think about adding some smoke by doing them in the smoker or would that ruin the nuts??
