I agree wholeheartedly.   Even a first generation MAK 1 Star General is a fine cooker.  My original 2011 1 star is still smoking up great food for my friend Jason!  In fact it actually runs better than original since he upgraded to the FlashFire ignitor, and had the firmware updated.
