High temp

(1/1)

Lemonhead78:
Is their a pellet that’s better for high temp grilling ?

sparky:
Pure oak and charcoal pellets would produce the highest btu's.  All pellet grills have high heat alarms and should shut itself off if the temp gets too high.

cookinpellets junior:
lets start off on what kind grill you are using? or brand  i should say. What are you trying to cook or do. There are a lot of variables to this question, lets start here (:  p.s yes my punctuation stinks .i ate paint chips when i was young (: ;D

cookinpellets junior:
BUT on that note sparky is pretty much right. Oak  HOWEVER  with that being said it depends on the pellet brand also..

smokeasaurus:
Yup, stay away from alder based pellets. Alder does not burn as hot and is pretty ashy.
