Beef Short Ribs on the Akorn

(1/2) > >>

HighOnSmoke:
Beef ribs on the menu tonight! I order the majority of my meat from Porter Road butcher out of Nashville. My preference for
beef ribs has always been their Texas beef ribs. This last order I changed it up and ordered their regular short ribs. These come
2 to a package versus the Texas ribs which are 4 to a package. The regular short ribs are much larger, meatier and too us they
have more flavor. They are also cut different. I will definitely be ordering more of these.

Great looking marbling on these ribs.

Seasoned with Meat Church BBQ rubs.

A little over 2 hours into the cook they are starting to look good!

3.5 hours at 275 and these ribs are probe tender and done.

My plate with some tater tot casserole that my wife threw together.

Ribs were mouth watering tender with an excellent bark. Great Sunday dinner!

Looks great. I'll have to stop by there the next time I am in the nashville area.

I will gladly take leftovers! Looks very tasty!!!

ACW3:
Mike,
Those are some mighty fine looking short ribs.  I have had a taste for them recently.  I'll see if I can find some locally and give them a try.
