Fajitas with flank steak
« Reply #-1 on: February 03, 2013, 03:21:19 PM »
The wife wanted flank steak fajitas so that's what she got.

I marinated the flank steak for several hours in a new marinade she found.

Got some veggies ready for the MAK griddle.

Next I got some beans and cheese ready for the smoker.

With the griddle in place and the MAK heated up burning oak pellets its time to cook.

Next I put some tortillas in the warming drawer to pick up some smokey goodness.

Veggies are done and the flank steak is only minutes away from being done at this point.

Beans are ready and the steak is done..lets slice it up!

And voila! Plated up.

I can eat fajitas everyday! Mexican is my favorite. The seasoning marinade was pretty good and the steak was perfectly cooked.
Overall the meal was a home run! It was quick and easy and I didn't have to stand in the frigid temps too long.

Thanks for looking!
