wonder how long it takes to smoke onions.

Anyone have any idea on how long to smoke huge onions in the beesr. They are big, but I cut them in half. I have them on the top rack above the 8# poirk butt that I have on right now. Poor onions gonna drip all over my pork butt.  Thanks Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Tommy..here they are cut up in a light olive oil and apoinch of salt. I used cherry pellets and Iknow the oil is gonna be fabulous to fry chicken thighs in. .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

I saw a lady on tv fry chicken in a huge pan with tons of onions in it..It looked absolutely fabulous. Gonna recreate it, but the oil should be like garlic oil..only oniony. I'm thinking baked beans with my smoked brown sugar also. Should be tasty.  Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Well..the onions came out great, but the pork was even better. 8# - 15 -10- 8 took 7.5 hours in the beesr. Got homemade coleslaw ready for sammiches already. This is the best one I ever made. Look at that clean bone.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
