Fish Tacos with Slawsa
« Reply #-1 on: March 11, 2013, 08:37:09 PM »
I found some Slawsa earlier today and we were making fish tacos for dinner. Nothing fancy but something to look at.

Corn tortilla, fish, fresh corn off the Cobb, coleslaw for some crunch, a slice of avocado, chipotle sauce. I put some Slawsa in one to try it out.
The fish is simply put in some AP flour seasoned with some lemon pepper pan fried in EVOO.

After I tried it out il like it so much that I finished the last two with just a Lil bit more ;D

I must admit that out of the jar straight into my pie hole i didn't think too much of it. Once I got a taste of it within the taco, well you saw the last two pics ;) :).
Nice sweet, tangy.

They look good Mike! Have not tried that Slawsa yet but am curious on the taste. I might have to order some since I cannot find it out here.

Great looking tacos Mike! I was like you too, out of the jar I was not sure I would like it, but on a pulled pork sandwich with a litlle hot sauce it was killer! Don
