All most authentic jerk pork
« Reply #-1 on: April 17, 2013, 08:30:26 AM »
SIL is visiting from New Hampshire to work the Pilgrim plant outage so I thought I'd make some semi-authentic jerk pork chops...

Marinated chops on the Yoder with a combination of hickory, cherry and allspice in the A-Maze-N tube

It's not a very pretty plate but it tasted good!

Served with Red Beans & Rice along with some grilled pineapple (not very Jamacian I'll admit) and tarragon carrots (also not very Jamacian). I would have preferred more spice... next time it will be habaneros instead of jalapenos for the marinade...
