Not truly BBQ but still good

I'll be the first to admit I am not a baker... never liked baking it's more chemistry than cooking!

But the bride wanted some scones for breakfast so I made up a batch but put a little twist on them by including lemon zest and dried cranberries instead of the usual currants/ raisins. I wanted to make a simple lemon glaze for them but didn't have any confectioners sugar in the pantry so they just got glazed with a lemon butter and dusted with grated lemon zest.



I had mine with some sausage gravy and fried eggs... not too bad for a Saturday morning!
