Memorial Day Steaks
« Reply #-1 on: May 30, 2013, 12:56:08 PM »
I was married on Saturday and by Monday all the friends and relatives that came in for the wedding were headed home so ordered some thick cut Rib Eyes from the Carnivore Store here in Smithville and rubbed them down with our favorite spices

Put them in the Bradley for 1 hour of cold Mesquite Smoke...then vacuum sealed and in the fridge for a couple of hours

Used Cooper Instant read to get med-rare for new wife, medium for me and med well for my Sister

Completed the meal with some decent red...my new Wife Susan on the left and my Sister Kathi

Headed for Honeymoon Cruise in Southern Caribbean on Saturday....

Thanks to all for the good wishes.....BTW had what I called a redneck wedding, outside next to a 100+ year old tobacco barn, catered by a hunting friend with a pull behind smoker with butts and brisket and all the sides....2 kegs of beer, 1 Stella and 1 Mich Ultra....good time had by all...

Congratulations.  Excellent looking steaks.  That cooking area is something!  I'm impressed.  Dee
