I believe the world's hottest recorded temperature is 132F... And it was in Death Valley.

I'd trade your heat for our humidity right now.
It stands at 89 percent - so, when you're sweatin' out there, it doesn't evaporate, it just runs down into your eyes. It makes your clothes stick to you, too.  Even sitting in the shade gives but little relief from the heat, but the muggy, oppressive humidity hangs on like a blanket.

Other than that, though, things are fine.

Agree. I'll take heat over humidity. Here I'm only 15 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Somedays it can be in the mid 80s but with high humidity and if feels worse than 100 degree dry heat. Absolutely,  positively,  indubitably misserable. ;) ;D
