Gotta try this. Making for my wifes work dinner tomorrow. Recipe follows photos

Here is the dry ingredients and the beer im using.

Im also adding some cumin. 1/4 t.

Chicken seasoned. Going in crockpot at 11pm

Beer in crockpot.

See you in the morning.

Here is the recipe. Im sure you can double this for larger families.

Ingredients
2 lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts (I used 3)
1 bottle or can of your favorite beer (I used Bud Black Crown)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 T dried oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper

I added 1/4 t cumin and 1/8 t thyme

Instructions
1.Place all ingredients in the crock pot, and cook on high for 4-5 hrs, or low for 6-8 hrs.
2.Feel free to change out the spices and herbs and use whatever you’d like.

Cooking time: High 4-5 hours/Low 6-8 hours

Looks real good,  but do you get a beer taste to the chicken or does the flavor mello out ?

When I did a beer roast it had to much beer flavor for me

Not too much. The oregano took some of the beer taste away.

Beer whether in the food or with the food seems to make it better for me, add a crockpot and that works too. This looks good to me!!! Don

I'm going to try this one but Kimmie told me I couldn't use her beer I had to go buy my own!  She wouldn't waste a good beer on cooking
