Can't say I've ever had beef short ribs, not BBQ'd anyway. That is a real nice looking rib there.

They are amazing.  I would say beef short ribs and shoulder clod are my two favorite cuts for BBQ.  Brisket is basically just a cheep (and readily available) alternative to those two for me.
