My house smells so good!

Making a dish tomorrow and I need some great stock. Only way to get that is make your own. Here we go.

Some beef neck bones, onion, garlic, carrots, celery and parsley. Toss it all with some S&P and olive oil.



Roast at 400 for 25 minutes turn and roast for 25 minutes more. Looks like this.



Deglaze the roasting pan



Everything into the pot. This will go into the oven for 12 hours at 190. Look at that color. 12 hrs from now it will be heaven.

well got 3 quarts of great broth. Fell asleep and it cooked for about 16 hours instead of 8, mo better. Then remembered it was my wifes birthday. Emergency dinner reservations made. Will cook tomorrow.
