The Italian Stallion - the spaghetti burger
« Reply #-1 on: August 10, 2013, 09:43:27 AM »
Since a longer time I wanted to combine the best from two worlds: burger and spaghetti! I had some leftover spaghetti all’arrabbiata from yesterday's lunch, so today was time to give it a try.

The ground beef was seasoned with salt, black pepper and Savor Spices Steak Savor.

I started with crisping up some bacon.

After having toasted two bun halves I put the spaghetti on the flipped GrillGrates.

The patty followed with some chopped red onions.

I was a bit worried of flipping the spaghetti, but that worked better than I thought.

After spaghetti and the patty were flipped, I covered both with a slice of Swiss cheese.

After the cheese was melted I placed the bacon on the patty. Then the burger was assembled: bun, spaghetti, patty with bacon and bun.

This burger was something really special! It really unites the best from two worlds! And the combination of noodles and the burger offers a broad range of varieties with different kinds of noodles, sauces, seasonings and toppings.

Looks like something I'd see on the Red Robin gourmet burger joint - great job designing the next burger we'll see on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives
