Baby artichokes
« Reply #-1 on: October 05, 2013, 08:27:14 AM »

I wish I lived on the left coast to get really fresh baby artichokes but these work well for an appetizer or side dish.

Parboiled then smoked on the Yoder.

Served with a chipotle aioli...

On the Yoder (350 degrees F.) on Grill Grates with chopped garlic and olive oil

About 20 minutes later... This is going to be nice! Shaved some fresh parm on top.

With some butter for dipping

Look great chef! Growing up, my Italian grandmother often made me stuffed artichokes. Now I like them any way they're made. And yours look to die for.

we used to camp at sunset beach in Watsonville every summer for 2 weeks.  the artichokes field were right next to the camp ground.  we would go out everyday and cut some fresh artichokes for dinner.  the farmer knew my dad.   8)
