Meatloaf on the Pit Barrel Cooker

(1/3) > >>

Sweetbread:
I cooked meatloaf on the Pit Barrel Cooker last night.  It was very awesome and had just the perfect amount of smokiness.  I kept the rods out for a higher temperature.  I put the meatloaf in a cast iron skillet and used the grill grate.  Cooked it for about 50 - 60 minutes.  Sorry for no pictures.  If anyone wants the recipe I'd be glad to post.

muebe:
How much of a temp increase did you get with the rods out?

Pappymn:
Teaser....we forgive you. Don't make a habit of it. ;D

Sweetbread:
Sorry for the teaser pappy, my 3 year old was having drama drama drama issues ;D.  I will make sure to post pics next time for sure.  I think the temp was around 350 for most of the cook.  More baking temps which would be sweet for pizza and bread!

PoppyBill:
SweetBread - My wife and I LOVE smoked meatloaf. I'm used to how I make it, but I'd love to see your recipe. Always looking for ways to improve.   :-\
