Brunswick Stew

Yesterday I tried Brunswick Stew for the first time. I had some frozen pork for pulled pork, which was thawed and warmed on the ceramic cooker. Meanwhile I smoked some chicken breasts and chicken breast filets. After all was done the meat was shredded to be used in the stew:



























After simmering nearly 3 hours the Brunswick Stew was done:

I love Brunswick Stew and that looks perfect. I could go for a bowlful with a big hunk of corn bread.

There's an annual event near here that lists it's main draw as good southern BBQ including what's supposed to be wonderful Brunswick Stew. What they serve looks like canned soup compared to yours WC! Excellent job.
