Oysters and lobster
« Reply #-1 on: November 12, 2013, 08:23:30 AM »

It's not an inexpensive meal but a nice meal for my daughter visiting from England...

Fresh oysters (harvested today) and 1 1/2# Maine lobsters ($55.)

First you need to make some drawn butter to remove the milk solids

And then shuck the oysters (difficult but worth the effort)

Uncooked lobsters ready for the steamer

About 15 minutes later, ready to eat
