Couldn't Wait! Had to Try It!
« Reply #-1 on: December 03, 2013, 10:20:56 PM »
As many know, I received a new Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer for my birthday. I wanted to try it out and see what I could do with it. So, I took a recipe off of Allrecipes.com for a Dutch Apple Bundt Cake. You know, the kind with apples rubbed in cinnamon, and white sugar. Here's a couple of pictures of the results.

My wife must have liked it because when I went to get a piece of cake, there was a big chunk already missing. It did taste good to me.

Tomorrow the cake goes to work with my wife so the boys can knock it off. I don't need all the calories even though I substituted Splenda for sugar. I am going to make them some sort of Christmas cookies. Better send them a gallon of milk as well.

Thanks for looking.

Ed

Very nice..you can bake on the Yoder..I baked something on Tee's one year..and the rec-tec bakes well too..so does Tee's MAK and TentHunters thing he has..makes killer biscuits and Scotch eggs. Just like an outdoor oven. Now you have to stock up on baking pans. kitchenkrafts.com and kaf.com have everything that you would ever need for baking. KAF is King Arthur Flour. They have mixes but I make my own to control my diabetes. Good luck and keep on cooking.
I make my own pasta with the attachments and grind my own meat too. I have a bright pretty red one. Enjoy.  Pam  .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི
