That looks like a terrific snack.

Are you allowed to share the recipe?
No secrets here..

Kicked up smoked almonds
Ingredients
3 lbs. (or 8 cups) uncooked, untreated natural almonds –
6 oz honey
½ cup BROWN sugar
½ cup melted butter
1 tsp salt
¾ - 1 tsp cayenne, depending on your taste preference
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup real maple syrup (Don’t use artificial. Spend the money for the real stuff—it’s the only thing that works)
1-cup Jack Daniels bourbon (use any bourbon)
Mix all ingredients together, nuke in a microwave just enough to melt in the sugar, honey and syrup.
Let cool then stir into the almonds. Refrigerate at least 3 hours to get the flavors in the almonds; they are not porous so don’t take on flavors easily.
Smoke at 225 to 250 deg. for two to three hours if you start to see a little black, they are done.
Let cool completely and store in an air tight container

Me too-- this is a vicious cycle ya'll have got me on!  ;)  Thanks for sharing the recipe!

I think you just forgot to add the part about marinating the cook with some of the extra bourbon while you're waiting for the almonds!   :D
