Homemade sausage & Baked Penne with my red sauce
« Reply #-1 on: January 12, 2014, 09:24:11 PM »
Saturday was a lazy day and it had rained Friday night so no working outside cause it was WET!

So we had Kimmie sister over for dinner and games.  We had some Italian sausage in the freezer and her sister wanted to try the red sauce I make so it worked out great for me. I got to grill and make the sauce all in one day  :D

Wish I had more days like that  ;)

Good looking dinner and to share it with family is always fun, you just need a round pasta dish so you can smoke it in the pellet SRG.

I bet it would taste good with some hickory smoke.

Homemade savory sausage, tangy tomato sauce, silky cheese, and pasta - doesn't get more homey than that!

I'd have gladly one of them grilled sausages with some red sauce. Sounds like it was red-sauce-hog-heaven!
