Roast beef done in the Triple Chef pellet grill
« Reply #-1 on: January 12, 2014, 09:35:55 PM »
Had some time today so thought I'd do a roast in the pellet grill today.  I took a nice round roast covered it with Gunpowder and wrapped it put it in the fridge for a few hours for a rest.

I cooked this roast on med heat (ran around 265 to 280) cooked till I hit 165 IT removed let it rest and cut it up for sammies.  It was juicy and even had a nice smoke ring (Kimmie said it was raw on the outside)   :)   She has no clue

Who needs Arby's 4 hour roast beef when you can do one like this  ;)

I'm really getting to like this pellet cooking

Y'all just need to come over for dinner and you can make one here.  Not like you wouldn't have a cooker waiting on you ;)

Kimmie and my bride would get along famously!   If it ain't burned/charred/crispy--it's not done enough!  Back to the pan/oven, whatever!   Jeez!
