Ya'll talked me into it.So a fruity wood smoke about 2 hours,then I will pickle in beet juice,love the taste and color.

When you do please take some pics, make a post and keep us informed on how they turn out.  I wasn't too crazy about the smoked pickled mustard eggs I did this past year.

Man, I would nail those! My wife and cats would hate to be around me though, somewhere I have a picture of my cats with their paws over their nose after I ate some pickled eggs. I would love to see finished pics but there are times I am glad we don't have "smellavision" on the forum.

I will.LOL,its after midnight last night,Mrs comes out,why dont you fire up the smoker and get those eggs on?Sorry,bedtime,but you gotta love a woman like that!

 I'll go put em on the smoker right now.All I have left is hickory and apple,went with apple.
