Trouts
« Reply #-1 on: February 15, 2014, 10:09:59 AM »
Today I made some trout filets: one half was seasoned with WOW and the other with Big Poppa's Jallelujah Seasoned Jalapeno Salt. One of each was cooked on a cedar plank and the others first over indirect heat, then finished over direct heat. The plated with some poatoes and salad.

Another great cook as always WC! I wish I could afford a trip to Germany just to eat your food.

I'm saving this one..they are gonna stock trout the beginning of April in Schoonover's. I'm sending the boys out to get our fair share. I always fried them whole. Real crispy, they love them.
How was the planked ones? Do they taste like cedar?

Those are some mouth watering fillets...

Exactly what I was thinking!

Wow & Jalleluja are both excellent seasonings that go on darn near anything.
