Had a hankering for some oysters
« Reply #-1 on: April 08, 2014, 07:48:23 PM »
My wife doesn't like oyster and I don't get them at home very often.  She was at a meeting and wasn't home for dinner.  I decided it was time for some fried oysters.  I used the wet, dry, wet, dry method.  I rinsed them (wet), rolled with flour (dry), dipped in egg wash (wet), and then rolled in panko bread crumbs (dry) and dropped them in the fry daddy for a couple minutes.  They turned out well.  Can't wait for her to go to another dinner meeting.   :)

That falls into the category of another thing you don't normally get at home.  Just saying...

Not sure how anyone could not like that.  Raw I can understand (though I like them), but fried... come on!
