I'm hoping to grow enough pickling cucumbers to give it a try.  Never did my own but I do love Claussen pickles a whole bunch!!!

Ask the missus if she'd be willing to share her recipe spuds.  Nothing like a great pickle!

With the rising costs etc. we're looking into doing some canning this year.  Haven't done any canning for 25 years.  We're fortunate enough to have great farms around this area and I should be able buy veggies and fruit in bulk.

Sounds great.  Thanks.  No big rush since it's going to be another 60 days or so for the cucumbers to be ripe and ready  ;D

Ain't that the truth, I look forward to our local farmers market here every Friday for the locally grown fresh stuff.
