Pam, I rubbed some oil in it and it soaked right in. Didn't want to overdo it. How much oil does it take...and should we put it in the oven after oiling like cast iron? Just a few more details please and thank you.

The first application I threw into the oven at 450 for a while, can't remember how long. Till it turn brown in color I believe. Than before making bread I gave it another spray down (top & bottom) for the next three loafs I made. The last clean up was a snap, nothing stuck to it at all.
